What is PVoC and which countries require it?

PVoC (Pre-Export Verification of Conformity) is a mandatory pre-shipment inspection programme. Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Zimbabwe currently require PVoC certificates for regulated product categories. Without a valid PVoC certificate, goods are rejected at the border and returned at the exporter's expense. A TCR Verified record provides the immutable documentation trail that PVoC inspectors and KEBS/TBS auditors require.
